Various leisure opportunities exist, some of which are let, including shooting, fishing (salmon and sea trout) and stalking; the estate has adopted the relevant Conservation Codes to each in furtherance of balancing the demands of a sustainable and responsible approach to environment, society and economics.

Along with all of the arts events, there are excellent walks on the estate, for all ages and abilities, keeping to the Scottish Outdoor Access Code. Much of this links in to the Haddo Country Park.
